Simple Steps You Can Take to Maintain Your System:
- Change Air Filters Regularly: Clogged filters are the most common cause of service calls. Change filters every 30 days, especially if you have pets or if your return is near the floor or an outside door. We recommend a MERV 6-8 rated pleated filter.
- Fix Leaking Water/Blank Thermostats: A clogged condensate line is usually the cause. Use white vinegar to clear the pipe (avoid bleach). Your system may shut off for safety if the line is clogged.
- Maintain Your Outside Unit: Keep the area around your condenser clean and free from debris to allow proper airflow.
